Fun Facts

Like just about every other dude I know, I got really into Scotch almost immediately after turning 30. This trip came at a pretty excellent time, and my best buddy Matt and I went to a whole bunch of awesome distilleries.

The Scottish Forestry Commission has created 7 mountain biking parks in Scotland, called the 7 Stanes. On Day 6 of the trip, I biked through Glentress, the most popular one. It is often called "the best place to mountain bike in the UK."

The Isle of Skye is incredibly cinematic. Several films have been shot there, and it reminded me a lot of Iceland.
